Running the decommissioning command from Cloudera Manager

Learn how to decommission the Ozone Manager (OM) through Cloudera Manager.

To decommission the OM using the Cloudera Manager UI, perform the following steps:

Log in to Cloudera Manager.
Navigate to Clusters.
Select the Ozone service.
Click Ozone Manager.
Click Actions.
Click OM Decommission.

After decommissioning Ozone Manager, you must delete the ozone.om.decommissioned.nodes.[ozone_service_id] property that was added using the Decommissioning OM Node documentation. For more information, see the Deleting the Decommissioning property documentation.
