Prerequisites
Requirements that must be met before enabling or configuring advanced TLS controls for YARN.
- Cluster Version – The cluster must be running Cloudera Runtime 7.3.2 SP1 or later.
- Administrative Access – Full Administrator access to Cloudera Manager to edit YARN service configurations and perform service restarts.
- Feature Activation – The Advanced TLS Control feature must be enabled in Cloudera Manager for inclusion lists to replace legacy regex behaviors.
- Network / Security Compliance – Ensure that external client applications connecting to YARN endpoints support the specific TLS protocols, such as, TLS 1.2 or 1.3 and ciphers configured in your inclusion list.
