Updating Privacy Settings for a Virtual Cluster

Learn about how to enable or disable Restrict sharing by default option for a Virtual Cluster.

  1. In the Cloudera console, click the Data Engineering tile. The Cloudera Data Engineering Home page displays.
  2. Click Administration in the left navigation menu. The Administration page displays.
  3. In the Services column, select the Service containing the Virtual Cluster for which you want to update the Privacy Settings.
  4. In the Virtual Clusters column on the right, click the Cluster Details icon for the Virtual Cluster for which you want to update the Privacy Settings.
  5. Click Configurations > Privacy Settings.
  6. To enable Privacy Settings, select the Restrict sharing by default checkbox or to disable Privacy Settings, uncheck the Restrict sharing by default checkbox.
  7. Click Apply Changes.
