Deleting a workspace

You can permanently delete workspaces in Cloudera Data Visualization when they are no longer needed.

To delete a workspace, you must have the Manage privilege for that workspace. If you do not have the necessary permissions, the Delete action is not available.

  1. On the main navigation bar, click VISUALS.
  2. In the left-side menu, under Workspaces, select the workspace you want to delete.
  3. Click Actions > Delete Workspace in the top-right corner of the screen.
    The Delete Workspace modal appears.
  4. Type DELETE, then click Delete to confirm the action.

The workspace is permanently removed and no longer appears in the list of workspaces.
