Changing join types

Learn how you can change the join type in a table in Cloudera Data Visualization.

The following steps demonstrate how to change the join type in a table from the default Left join to the Inner join.

  1. Navigate to the Data Model page of the dataset.
  2. Click Edit in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Click the two overlapping circles on the line connecting the tables to change the join type.
  4. In the Join Details modal, select a different join type.

    For example, instead of the default Left join, select Inner join.

  5. Click Save in the top-right corner of the page.
