Supported engines and configuration types
The endpoint injection layer targets key configuration namespaces depending on the Virtual Warehouse engine or component type being deployed.

Backward compatibility
If the thunderhead-environment service does not have the ExternalS3AccountsSvc service registered, the Cloudera Data Warehouse control plane logs a warning and continues standard operations with an empty account list. This typically occurs in lower Cloudera Data Warehouse versions. This architectural fallback mechanism prevents Virtual Warehouse creation or deployment failures.
