Configuring Storage for Altus Director

This section explains options for configuring storage for Altus Director. A number of kinds of storage and storage options are available with Altus Director. You can use an external database for Altus Director server in place of the embedded H2 database, and doing so is highly recommended for production installations. Altus Director supports MySQL and MariaDB for this purpose. Also, you can configure Altus Director to encrypt the data stored in the Altus Director database. These options are described in the following sections.
