Creating the custom role for the Logger

Use these steps to create the custom role for the Logger service account.

For more information, see the GCP docs.

  1. Go to Rules tab on the IAM console in the same project in the Google Cloud console.
  2. Click +Create Role.
  3. Enter a name for the custom role.
  4. Click +Add permissions and add all the permissions mentioned in the respective entry in Table 1.
  5. Click Create when you have added all the necessary permissions.

If you want to create custom roles for other service accounts, follow the previous instructions. It is only necessary if you don't want to use the predefined roles listed in Table 1.
