Upgrading Cloudera AI Registry using the UI

Upgrade Cloudera AI Registry through the Cloudera AI user interface to deploy higher software versions on ready-state environments.

The Cloudera AI Registry must be in Ready state to begin an upgrade. If an upgrade is already in progress, a new upgrade cannot be started.

  1. In the Cloudera console, click the Cloudera AI tile.

    The Cloudera AI Workbenches page is displayed.

  2. Click AI Registries under ADMINISTRATION in the left navigation menu.

    The AI Registries page is displayed.

  3. Select the AI Registry that you want to upgrade.

    The selected Cloudera AI Registry page is displayed.

  4. Select Upgrade from the Action drop-down list.

    When the upgrade process finishes, the Cloudera AI Registry displays either a Ready or Failed status.

Verify the upgrade of the Cloudera AI Registry. Check the event logs in the Event Logs tab of the Cloudera AI Registry details page.
