Monitoring in Agent Studio

The Monitoring feature in Agent Studio integrates the Phoenix observability tool to provide deep insights into workflow execution and trace data for asynchronous test and production workflows.

The Phoenix application is a prerequisite for Agent Studio's monitoring functionality and is deployed as part of the Agent Studio setup. The Phoenix application must be fully operational before it can begin monitoring workflows.

All workflows, regardless of whether they are in test mode or fully deployed, are initiated asynchronously, with their traces being sent to Phoenix. Agent Studio retrieves these traces through the Phoenix GraphQL API to display the monitoring data within the studio interface.
