Task planning is a workflow feature that enables an agent to manage complex, multi-step projects by generating an automated, structured to-do list during a run.

Task planning provides real-time visibility into agent progress. When enabled, agents break their work into discrete tasks and performs each task in sequence, ensuring every step is completed and verified before moving to the next. The system tracks this progress step by step and surfaces it in real time in the workflow UI, allowing you to see exactly what each agent is doing and monitor its current progress.
