What's new in ML Runtimes version 2026.08.2

Improvements

  • CVE fixes - This Maintenance release includes numerous improvements related to Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE).
    • Upgraded GitPython from 3.1.55 to 3.1.59 to resolve high-severity application-level CVEs identified by Aqua.
    • Upgraded Pillow from 12.3.0 to 13.0.0 for Python 3.11–3.14 to address the bundled libbrotlidec vulnerability (CVE-2026-111497). Python 3.10 remains on Pillow 12.3.0.
    • Updated certifi Python package to version 2026.10.23 for Python 3.10–3.14 to incorporate the eMudhra trust-store fix (GHSA-6q48-6c7w-9gw2). Previous runtime versions used certifi Python package 2024.7.4 or 2025.4.26 depending on the Python version.
