View Policy page
The View Policy page appears after you click a policy on the Policies tab, or when you click View Policy for a policy on the Table Policies side panel.
The following image shows the ClouderaAdaptive policy page:
- The Policy banner section shows the policy name and the
Actions menu.Click the Actions menu to:
- Edit Associations – This action opens the Edit Associations side panel which shows the Policy name, the Namespaces, and the tables associated with the policy. You can choose one or more namespaces to associate with the policy.
- Delete Policy – This action removes the policy permanently. Ensure that you have a backup plan to maintain the tables that were associated with this policy.
- The Associations section contains the following panels:
- The Namespace panel lists all the
namespaces that contain the tables associated with the policy, which
might be an entire namespace in a policy or a few tables in the
namespace.
Search for a namespace name to verify whether the namespace or the tables in the namespace are associated with the policy, or to view more details about the namespace in the Associations panel.
- The Associations panel shows all the tables in the
selected namespace that are associated with the policy; the
NAMESPACE name, and the NUMBER OF
TABLES in the namespace that are associated with the
policy. The table details that appear in the Associations panel include:
- The current task maintenance Status
icon. The Status icon color shows:
- green, when the last policy run for the table completed successfully,
- red, when the last policy run for the table failed, and
- grey, when the table maintenance has been paused either by the user manually or because the recurring failures during the execution phase for the policy exceeded the retry value
- The Table Name
- The Total Task Run
- The Version
Click the download icon to download the policy definitions applicable to that table.
- The Last Run timestamp.
You can enter the namespace name in the Search field, or filter the list based on the Status or the Version to view more details about the namespace-policy associations in the Associations panel.
