Caching policy

Whenever you create or update a policy, the policy is cached on the server side and refreshed every one hour by default allowing the policy to come to effect. However, if you want to cache the policy immediately, you must restart Cloudera Observability on Cloudera Manager UI.

1. Log in to Cloudera Manager
2. Click Cloudera Observability
3. Click Actions
4. Click Restart

The policies are cached on the server side allowing the policy to come into effect immediately.
