Generating and saving Cloudera AI API key

To generate and save a Cloudera AI API key, you must synchronize the observability machine user within the Site Administration settings.

Log in to Cloudera AI UI.
Click Cloudera AI Workbenches.
Click Site Administration > Users.

Verify if the observability machine user is displayed.
Click the Sync users option.

If synchronization fails, you must continue to retry. After a successful sync, refresh the page if the machine user is not displayed.
Click Edit Action after the machine user is displayed.
Click on Create API Key.
Save the generated API key value to a file. Keep a note of the path to this file as it is required in the following step.

- You must not use the Legacy API Key option.
- If the the API Key is rotated or expired, you must again generate and save the API Key by performing the above steps again. After this, you must perform the steps to create the API key secret.
