Configure third party tools by using the UI

Configure third-party tools such as OpenTelemetry Collector Gateway using the UI to enable telemetry data collection and exporting.

Managing gateway hosts

  1. Log in to Cloudera Manager
  2. Navigate to Hosts > Hosts Configuration tab
  3. In the search bar, search for OpenTelemetry Collector Gateway Hosts (otelcol_gateway_hosts)
  4. Provide a hostname from the same cluster which you want to dedicate as the gateway host. To add more gateway hosts, click + and add more gateways. For example, host01.example.com.
  5. Add one or more gateway hosts from the list.
  6. Click Save Changes.
