Explaining release versioning convention for Cloudera 7.3.1.0
For Cloudera 7.3.1.0, the first numeral indicates the base version, the second numeral represents the major version number, the third numeral represents the minor version number and the last numeral represents either a cumulative hotfix (CHF) or a service pack (SP). For example, release versioning convention for Cloudera 7.3.1.0 is <Base>.<Major>.<Minor>.<Cumulative Hotfix/Service Pack>. For more details, see Cloudera Platform Support Policy.
