Configuring Livy

Livy is a proxy service for Apache Spark on Cloudera. Use this section to configure the Livy server, high availability, TLS, and client libraries such as Hive Warehouse Connector (HWC) and HBase-Spark connector jars.

Clients such as notebooks, REST applications, and JDBC tools submit Spark work through Livy. Configure Livy in Cloudera Manager and tune service properties for your cluster security and workload requirements.
