The following steps describe how to start local and remote services. For more information, see Managing HDP on Windows.
Start local services on the Master Nodes:
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_local_hdp_services.cmdWait for the Master Node services to start up before continuing.
At any Master Node, start all slave node services:
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_remote_hdp_services.cmdAt the Knox Gateway:
%HADOOP_NODE%\start_local_hdp_services.cmdSmoke test your installation as described in "Validating the Installation".
