Agent starts but cluster is not displayed in CMA Master UI

When the CMA Agent is running but the cluster is not displayed in the CMA Master UI, verify registration timing, agent logs, and Cloudera Manager credentials.

Symptom: The CMA Agent starts successfully, but the cluster does is not displayed in the CMA Master UI.

For more information on cluster registration in Cloudera Migration Assistant, see Registering clusters.

  1. Wait briefly after agent startup.

Allow about 30 seconds for the registration to finish.

  2. In the agent log, look for the Sending agent instance confirmation message.
  3. If the confirmation message does not appear, check the Cloudera Manager credentials configured for the agent.

The agent uses those credentials to query Cloudera Manager for cluster metadata.
