3.1. Set Up the Bits

Download the HDP Installer:

wget http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/tools/1.2.1/HDP-gsInstaller-1.2.1.23.tar.gz

To access the optional Talend tool set: wget http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/tools/1.2.0/HDP-ETL-TOS_BD-V5.1.1.tar.gz

To access the optional Talend tool set:

Expand the archive on the single host machine (also referred as the master-install-location in this document):
