Managing custom colors
In Cloudera Data Visualization, administrators can create custom color palettes to style visuals and applications. Once created, custom color palettes are available to all users and can be applied consistently across visuals. Administrators can also edit and delete existing custom color palettes as needed.
You can define custom color palettes in the following formats:
- Distinct colors
- A set of clearly differentiated colors, typically used for categorical data
- Gradient colors with values
- A value-based gradient that maps minimum, midpoint, and maximum data values to colors
- Gradient colors with percentages
- A percentage-based gradient that distributes colors across a defined range
