Uploading Bundles to Hortonworks

Once a bundle has been captured, it needs to be uploaded to Hortonworks depending on the intent chosen during capture.

SmartSense Analysis

If a bundle has been captured for SmartSense Analysis and you're looking for recommendations on cluster performance, operations, and security, your encrypted SmartSense Analysis bundle needs to be uploaded to the hosted SmartSense Analysis environment. Please see the Uploading SmartSense Analysis Bundles to Hortonworks SmartSense section for details about connecting to and uploading bundles to this environment.

Support Case Troubleshooting

If you are working with Hortonworks Support to troubleshoot an issue, your Support Case Troubleshooting bundle needs to be either attached to your support case, if it's below 65MB, or uploaded to Exavault if it's larger. Please see the Uploading Support Case Bundles to Hortonworks Support section for details about connecting to and uploading bundles to Exavault.
