Upgrading SQL Stream Builder

The upgrading for SQL Stream Builder (SSB) is not supported for Cloudera Streaming Analytics (CSA) 1.3.0 version. This means that you cannot directly upgrade CSA from the 1.3.0 version to any higher versions.

In case you are using CSA 1.3.0 and want to upgrade to a higher version of CSA, you have to stop your SQL jobs, install and configure the higher version of SSB, and restart your SQL jobs on the upgraded version. It is really important that you remove the 1.3.0 version of metadata databases, and set up the new version of them as described in the version specific Configuring databases for SSB section.
