Initializing Solr

You need to execute Solr actions before you start using the Solr service to ensure that Solr is initialized correctly.

  1. Go to Cloudera Manager > Clusters.
  2. Select Solr, and click Actions.
  3. Execute the Initialize Solr action.
  4. Execute the Create HDFS Home Dir action.
