Customize the HDFS home directory

By default, the HDFS home directory is set to /user/<user_name>. Use the dfs.user.home.dir.prefix property to customize the HDFS home directory.

In hdfs-site.xml file, set the value of the dfs.user.home.dir.prefix property.

In the example, <value> is the path to the new home directory.
