Specifying Impala Credentials to Access S3

Specify an Impala credential to access data in Amazon S3.

  1. In Cloudera Manager, navigate to Administration > External Accounts.
  2. In the AWS Credentials tab, click Add Access Key Credentials.
  3. Enter a Name of your choosing for this account.
  4. Enter the AWS Access Key ID.
  5. Enter the AWS Secret Key.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Save to finish adding the AWS Credential.
  8. Select Cluster Access to S3.
