Updating YARN Queue Manager Database Password

Once you have configured Queue Manager, you can update the YARN Queue Manager database password manually.

  1. In Cloudera Manager navigate to Clusters > YARN Queue Manager UI
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Search for password.
    The Config Service Database New Password (Requires restart) field is displayed.
  4. Enter the new password into the input field.
  5. Click Save Changes.
  6. Restart the YARN Queue Manager service.
    On restarting, the password of the database is updated to the new password.
  7. On restarting YARN Queue Manager, a stale configuration icon is displayed.
  8. Restart the YARN Queue Manager service again to address this.
