Adding a group

How to add a group in Ranger.

  1. In the Ranger Admin Web UI, select Settings > Groups.
    Users/Groups/Roles displays the Groups tab active.
    Users/Groups List with Groups tab active
  2. Click Add New Group.

    The Group Create page appears.

  3. Enter a unique name for the group (required) and description (optional), then click Save.
