Creating and managing distribution lists

Distribution lists allow you to subscribe a group of users to receive resource notifications. You can create the distribution lists based on which users should receive certain types of resource notifications. To create a distribution list, the email addresses must belong to an allowed domain. Admins can create five allowed domains for a tenant. Admins can subscribe or unsubscribe users to the email notifications that are enabled for the distribution list they belong to.

Required role: NotificationDistributionListAdmin

  1. Navigate to the Notifications page.
  2. Select the Distribution Lists tab.
  3. Click Settings.
    The Distribution List Settingd window appears.
  4. Provide the domain that will be used in the email addresses.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Navigate to the resource where you want to subscribe to notifications, and provide the email addresses that you want to receive notifications.
    You can manage the group subscriptions on the Notifications page under Distribution Lists. Using , you can go to the subscribed resource, edit and delete the distribution list.
