Deleting a compaction alert

Learn how to delete an user-defined or default compaction alert that you no longer require for your Cloudera Data Warehouse (CDW) deployment.

  1. In the Data Warehouse service, click Overview and expand the Environments column.
  2. Click and locate an environment that you activated for CDW, which has the default Database Catalog.
  3. Click the environment options and select Edit.
  4. In the Environment Details page, click the ALERT SETTINGS tab and then click > Delete for the alert that you want to delete.

  5. Click OK to confirm the delete action.
