Starting a flow

Learn how to start a stopped flow on the Cloudera Data Flow UI.

Starting a flow starts all resources of a stopped flow.

• You must have a stopped flow in Cloudera Data Flow.
• You must have DFFlowAdmin permission.

1. Open Cloudera Data Flow by clicking the Data Flow tile in the Cloudera sidebar.
2. Click Deployments on the left navigation pane.
   The Deployments page is displayed.
3. Select the flow you want to start.
   • Select the deployment hosting your flow and then select the flow in the Flow & Deployments pane. Click Flow Actions > Manage Flow > Start Flow
   • Select the Flows tab, then search for the flow you want to view in NiFi. Select the flow you want to view and click [More] > Manage Flow > Start Flow.
4. In the Start [Flow Name] modal confirm your choice by clicking Start Flow.
