Creating a Project

You can create a Project to limit the visibility of drafts, deployments, Inbound Connections, and custom NAR Configurations within an Environment.

Make sure that you have DFProjectCreator permission to perform this task. For information on account and resource roles, see Cloudera DataFlow authorization.
Cloudera DataFlow must be enabled for the Environment.

Go to DataFlow > Projects.
Click Create Project.
Select Target Workspace.
Provide Project Name.

Project names need to be unique within a Workspace. The Deployment wizard indicates whether a name is valid by displaying a green check below the Project Name text box.
Optional: Provide a Project Description.
Click Create.

After creating a Project, it needs to be synchronized before resources can be assigned. This may take a few minutes and during the synchronization, the new Project is not available in the Workspace Resources view yet.
