YARN NodeManager CGroups

Set the file permission for Cloudera Manager deployment. This setting is applicable only if you are upgrading from HDP 2.6.5 to CDP Private Cloud Base 7.1.6.

You must set yarn.nodemanager.linux-container-executor.cgroups.hierarchy property to /hadoop-yarn in Cloudera Manager.

  1. In Cloudera Manager, navigate to YARN > Configurations.
  2. Find the CGroups Hierarchy (yarn.nodemanager.linux-container-executor.cgroups.hierarchy) property.
  3. Set the property to /hadoop-yarn.
  4. Click Save Changes.
