YARN mapreduce paramater

Set the mapreduce.shuffle.ssl.enabled parameter to true. This section is not applicable if you are upgrading to CDP Private Cloud Base 7.1.7.

If the Tez service has the tez.runtime.shuffle.ssl.enable parameter set to true, you must enable the mapreduce.shuffle.ssl.enabled parameter set to true in the YARN service in Cloudera Manager.

  1. Log in to Cloudera Manager UI.
  2. Navigate to Clusters
  3. Select the YARN service
  4. Go to Configurations
  5. Search for mapreduce.shuffle.ssl.enabled and set to true
