Exploring visual options

Cloudera Data Visualization helps you to develop valuable insights into your data by suggesting new visual types and options based on the information you already use in your existing visuals.

To view visual type and option recommendations, you must activate Enable Explore in the Site Settings > Dashboards > Visuals menu. For more information, see Enabling visual options.

  1. Open the dashboard in Edit mode.
  2. Select an existing visual and hover over its top right corner.

    Click Explore Options and choose one from the available recommendations. The options presented depend on the visual type.

    • Visual Types
    • Colors
    • Styles/Fonts
    • Settings
  3. You can also select the Explore Visuals icon in the Dashboard Designer.
