What's new in Data Visualization 7.2.5

Cloudera Data Visualization (CDV) 7.2.5 was released on June 28, 2024 introducing the following changes.

New features and improvements in Cloudera Data Visualization 7.2.5

VIZ-2678, VIZ-2685, VIZ-2688, VIZ-2705: UI and performance improvements for the Manage Roles and Role Detail interfaces.

VIZ-2267: Fixed an issue where certain users without the Manage Custom Styles privilege were incorrectly able to clone and modify Rich Text Visuals.
VIZ-2557, VIZ-2638, VIZ-2639, VIZ-2641, VIZ-2672: Bug fixes and improvements for editing email jobs and viewing details of previous job runs.
VIZ-2602 & VIZ-2712: Fixed critical and high package vulnerability issues identified in CDV 7.2.4.
VIZ-2671, VIZ-2683, VIZ-2684, VIZ-2689, VIZ-2693, VIZ-2723: Bug fixes and performance improvements for loading, editing and deleting datasets using the Data page.
VIZ-2707: Fixed an issue where editing dataset fields for a newly created Impala column would cause a syntax error unless the dataset was saved after refreshing the table information.
VIZ-2721: Fixed an issue where CSV files sent as email attachments with lines exceeding 1000 characters could be truncated by email servers.
